Barcelona welcomes Guitar Legends Hall, a unique museum on Portaferrissa Street that will delight music and rock lovers. This space, driven by collector Juan José Castellano, houses an impressive collection of more than 50 guitars. The Guitar Legends Hall museum, far from being a simple exhibition of instruments, is a passionate journey through the history of rock. The collection includes limited-edition guitars, unique pieces that belonged to great music legends such as Slash (Guns N Roses), Paul Stanley (Kiss), Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Phil Lynnot (Thin Lizzy) and even a replica of the iconic guitar from ‘Back to the Future’. Each guitar is contextualized in its time frame, allowing visitors to understand its historical importance and influence on the evolution of music. In addition, the museum offers the possibility of listening to the particular sound of each instrument, discovering the harmonies that make them unique. Guitar Legends Hall aspires to become a hub for music lovers. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum will offer four or five temporary exhibitions per year, with guitars from different eras and styles. The first will be dedicated to guitars from the 1930s, belonging to a French collector. The museum will also be a living space, with small concerts by emerging bands, conferences, workshops and masterclasses given by experts in the world of rock. Guitar Legends Hall promises an immersive experience in the world of rock. The tour culminates in an immersive space with holograms of legendary guitarists playing iconic riffs, recreating the electrifying atmosphere of a rock concert. With a forecast of 150,000 visitors per year, Guitar Legends Hall is positioning itself as a reference point for musical tourism in Barcelona, attracting fans and curious people from all over the world.
